THE BOOK LOVER

I was born and raised in the Longview/Kelso area.  I love living in the Pacific Northwest and cannot imagine living anywhere else.  

 

I graduated from Washington State University Vancouver with a degree in education.  I taught four years at Mt. Solo Middle School before transferring to Cascade, where I have been for the past two years. Every year I am excited for the first day of school and this year is no different.  It is always wonderful to see new faces and to have the chance to meet my students.  

 

I am eager to work with parents and guardians to ensure that every student will experience success and learn to work through difficulties.  Something I truly believe is failure (not in terms of grades but in terms of life) is simply an opportunity for growth.  Everybody needs to experience some failure in life to learn to push past it and achieve greatness.  

 

Teaching is my passion and I love what I do!
